I was saddened to see your mom's obituary today.  She was an absolutely lovely person.  I remember some really nice times with your family.  May you find peace in your memories.

What a beautiful woman, Mrs. Edwards was. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With her accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman. I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, Rev. 21:4, which says: “And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will come back to life. I hope that this verse will also comfort you, and I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, grandma and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com

I loved your mom. She was a grand lady and I think of her often. Your parents were both incredible people. My deepest sympathies. But she rests secure in the Lord.

A gentle soul, a loving friend has gone home to our Lord.  We mourn you but we can rejoice knowing that someday we will be reunited.  I miss our long talks on Sunday afternoons.  You have been a wonderful friend to me and we shared so much together over the years.  So for now, as we always ended our phone calls - "I love you and God Bless" - till we are reunited and resume our conversations.

    My sympathy to your family.

It is so nice to see the lovely comments about Delores. Her kindness and love can been seen in the comments left. It is never easy to lose someone in death no matter where they are in life. The memories that we hold on to as well as the memories shared by others helps comfort us. There is a lasting comfort that gives us a hope. This hope as helped so many others deal with the loss of a loved one.  May this give you comfort as it has given me Isaiah 25:8- He (God) will swallow up death forever and wipe all tears from all faces.
