How can you put into words what a wonderful sister-in-law she has been. We have walked and talked, laughed and cried and I have learnt so much about life through her. She just enjoyed people (and animals). A hug, pucker and squeeze. She lit up the world with her smile and she never met a stranger. Here's to you "Sis"!

Every time I saw her, she'd say, "you are such a pretty lady". Even with her questionable eyesight, (tee hee), love that little woman and will miss her.

I had the privilege of meeting and working with Ethel May right out of high school. Boy was that woman a hoot!  I don't think a day went by that she didn't have a smile on her face, or I didn't get a big hug from her. And all these years later she still was her happy smiley self. It wasn't too long ago she drove by my house honking and waving. I will miss her dearly. Fly high Ethel May, have a beer and tomato juice and think of me :)

My sincere condolences  on the loss of your wonderful Mom, Grandmother and Sister.  She was such a beautiful person and after buying my mother's home she always said I am taking good care of Betty's house.  I never saw her any way but happy and a great zest for life.  She would always great me in church sitting in her favorite pew.  I will miss her warm smile and great sense of humor and her deep faith.  May your memories sustain you and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.  Rest In Peace Ethel Mae and I bet heaven will be just as welcoming for you as you were welcomed on earth.

Peggy and Joel. So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember going to Bud and Ethel's when I was kneehigh to a grasshopper! Fortunately, our families remained close through the years. Ethel didn't just exist, she LIVED and was such a blessing to everyone. She will be greatly missed.

I met Ethel through my Uncle John and Aunt Vi and she became an instant friend.  She helped Aunt Vi so much with my uncle and then she helped me even more when Aunt Vi was sick.  She was truly an angel here on earth.  I loved running into her at Wal Mart and visiting with her.  I'll never forget her.  My sympathies to the family.

Ethel (Ma) Palmer was a delight. No matter where, how or when you had something she could help you do, she was there with a fabulous smile and willing hands. She always loved it when we addressed her as Ma. And she loved to “Mother” all of us. Love was what she brought to everyone she met.

I loved her and am so grateful to have walked her path for a time. She was a great help to Serenity during my time there. Joy was where she was and we must carry it in her name now.

So sorry for your loss. We are all better for knowing her.
