I'm Jason's Uncle. Since Jason was an avid 49er's fan and I"m an avid Bears fan we bantered with each other, all in fun. I think I owed him $1 from our last bet. Rest in Peace nephew.

May our memories of yesterday, warm our hearts today, tomorrow and forever. I'm so thankful that you found your biological family and that we are cousins. I'm also thankful that your forever family welcomed us. God bless you all and wrap you tightly in His arms.

Jason its amazing to see how many lives you touched. You were a huge part of mine and Dave's life. I have been thinking about all the money I lost to you and the many talks about Dave and how we were going to help him when he was making mistakes. Which then resulted in he and I getting married. You were there during our sobriety, during our marriage, our ups and our downs. And we were there for yours. There was a point where I was beginning to think you were indestructible. I regret that we lost touch since we moved. But now your gone and nothing can change that but know we will check in with your mini me and be there for him. You will always be there in our fond memories of you. Any of the bullshit negative crap just doesn't matter only the fond memories. God speed my friend. (I secretly want you to get a message to us. Who was right your or us? Lol) Love ya always.

Jason, you and I became friends at a time when we were both struggling with something. I always think back to that time and feel so lucky to have met you. What would I have done without your friendship? I knew we'd be lifelong friends, but I just thought we'd have more time. I'm sorry if I never told you how much you mean to me, or how grateful I am for every kindness you've ever shown me which is too much to even mention. You were one of the finest human beings I've ever known, and I'm so proud that you were my friend. I love you forever.

Gary, Jo, Erin, Sheila and family: My heart has been hurting for you since I learned of your loss. I remember Jason from when he and you, Erin, were kids, and I was happy to re-connect with him in the last year or so via Facebook. I am so very sorry and am continuing to keep you all in loving thought and prayer.

I give my deep sympathy to the family during this tough time. Losing a loved one is hard to cope with. One thing that has helped me cope with a loss is John 5:28,29. This scripture is very encouraging and provided so much hope. I hope it helps you all as well.
