I am very sorry to read of the loss of, Mr. Harp. He was a very faithful and dedicated man, married for 62 years! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 6:40, which says: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.”  I hope that this verse will also comfort you, and I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com

I’m so sorry to hear your family experienced a loss. It is hard to deal with feelings we have and it often leaves us with questions. Our wonderful memories of our loved ones who have died bring us a measure of comfort, but the Bible gives us a positive hope to the future. The creator promised us at Isaiah 25:8, that he will eliminate death and wipe the tears from our faces. As well as a promised hope of a resurrection at John 5:28,29.  May these scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grieving.
