Loved your mom! She was a hoot, and so very nice. I first met her as a young girl when she married your dad and came to see my grandma who had been doing your dad's laundry before they were married. She wanted to learn how to iron his shirts, cause he liked the way Gram did them. I later got to know her through Marla McCoys mother, Lucille Mcglinn. They could make my head spin the way they talked so fast, and they were so much fun together. Even later I ran into while working at the hospital and it was always like a close friend showing up and starting up where you last left off. She was in and out of my life quickly, but always memorably. Such a dear lady! Please accept my sympathy and prayers. She left nothing but good memories for me. Bless you all.

My sincere sympathy to all of you. My relationship with your mom began back when your parents first lived at Irwin Acres and I'd go down to visit. We reconnected when she worked at Mary Morgan and through the years we'd run into each other and it was if we'd seen each other the day before. A very special lady........God's Peace be with you......Susan Davis
