So sorry to hear of Fran's passing! I have so many great memories of Fran! He & I ran many non-emergency ambulance runs together in the old Ambulance Station Wagon. He was such a good driver & always made sure we were always safe in the back & would apologize for the curves especially when we were doing CPR.  When we had a fun raiser to buy equipment he was usually the one who got the most donations & would never boost about it. He was excited when BFPD bought The Old City Ambulance for $1 & we became part of the fire department & then got a new ambulance & better equipment. It was beautiful!  He loved his family, country, church, city, fire department & yes was best Postmaster around. My sympathy to all! He will be missed greatly!
