Our deepest condolences are extended to Mary Kay, their entire family, and their friends.

John Shank was a very special person, John was a definition; of what a loving family man is in life.

I had the great pleasure to revisit with John and Mary Kay a couple years ago after almost 35 years of living out of state and what stuck me most about them both that afternoon was that they hadn't missed a step after all the years. John was still as happy as the day he waited to say I do, and as his 5-year old ring bear I can still remember this amazingly.

As a child spending many Thanksgivings and Christmas' at his parents home and John was always glued to watching "Da Bears" and having to be dragged to the dinner table by Aunt Elise to eat and him acting like he was going to miss seeing some historic NFL touchdown, lol.

Yes, John Shank was a very special person to many without question and our hearts are heavy.
