Joy, So sorry about your father, I read his Obituary... saw he served in the military ( my Dad did too ) always will be SO proud that they fought for our county. Looks like he had an amazing life.

Joy, we are sad to learn of your loss of your dad. Jack & I both have fond memoirs of Bob. Jack with their FS connection and mine at the MT Morris Senior Center Director .  I enjoyed meeting you and helping you in planing bus trips with us, especially Washington DC.

We only knew Bob for a short time, but it was easy to see why he was so loved.  We are in Arizona, but are thoughts and prayers are with you in Illinois.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our comrade, Bob. Even with the difficulties brought on by aging, he was always cheerful. Bob was a good friend and an inspiration to all. He will be missed; yet he abides.

    Joy (Jon), Carla (Brad),

Sue and I are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have many memories (and a few stories) that I share with my employees (co-workers) about working with your Dad. All great ones. I also have memories of being at your family home for piano lessons (Thanks Joy!)

Where did all the years go?! Praying for comfort and peace at this time.

Joy and Carla your Dad was my  favorite Uncle but then you both knew that. When I was a young girl he use to take me with him in his work truck and showed me many places he needed to go, He was kind and always bought me something to drink and of course candy too. As kids we visited my Aunt Doris and Uncle Bob at there house so many times. The grown ups would be upstairs playing cards laughing and we kids were in the basement playing games and billiards. My brother and I and our kids always loved being around him and Aunt and all our cousins. He truly had a wonderful life filled with his favorite past times. I, as so many will miss him.

Joy and Carla, your Dad was one in a million and I for one will miss him terribly. He has brought smiles to my face so many times. The times that I saw him at the Oregon VFW enjoying a dinner or seeing him at a function where he always had a hug for me. He is now with his beautiful wife Doris and together they are perfect guardian angels for the rest of us. Your families are in our thoughts and prayers. God has received yet another angel.
