During my time at LOMC Virgil was such a force and a presence - sometimes someone to be feared (a little). But he was also a friend and I knew that he would always help in anyway he could - even he grumbled a little while doing it. I was blessed to have him as part of my life. I know he will be missed. My sympathies to Sheryl and the family.

My deepest sympathy to Sheryl and the rest of the family.  Virgil was a wonderful and very wise man.  His faith was so strong and he’d do anything for anybody.  He could fix anything and was always willing to share his knowledge.  I was blessed to have him in my life and will miss him dearly along with many other people.  RIP Virgil, we know where you are and will see you again someday.

Cheryl:  My deepest sympathy to read about your husband's passing.  It is never easy to lose a loved one and I know of what you are going to go through.  Virgil was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.  Always friendly and willing to help others.  May you take comfort in your memories and hold them close to your heart.  May he Rest In Peace and may you be held in the arms of our savior.  Take care my friend.

Sheryl and family, I was very saddened the other evening. I was glad I was able to get to know Virgil thru church. I even made him chuckle a little under his breath a couple of times during our committee meetings. He was such a devoted Christian man. He will leave a void on earth. If I was even the littlest help to you Sheryl on Monday evening during one of the hardest moments of your life, I’m glad I could help. Love and prayers for all of you.

Very sad to hear this news.  We have enjoyed our visits with Virgil and Sheryl at various NOMADS events.  We are unable to attend either visitation or funeral due to prior commitments, but will be thinking of you and praying for you!
