Kenneth C. Kleveland, age 57, died suddenly on Tuesday March 22, 2016. He was born on February 4, 1959 in Sycamore, IL the son of Norman and Betty (Wilson) Kleveland. He is a graduate of Hiawatha High School in Kirkland, IL the class of 1977. Ken married Jane Schuck on August 31, 1986 in Minooka, IL before settling in the Mt Morris area where they have lived for 35 years. He worked at F.S. in Oregon and before running his own home improvement and repair business called Kleveland Farm and Home for over 20 years. Ken’s family was the light of his life; and he spent his free time coaching his children’s sports through the Oregon Park District including soccer, t-ball, volleyball, and baseball. He and Jane helped manage the concession stand for the soccer program for 4 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Pat Voyles, mother-in-law Barbara and grandmother-in-law Marjorie. He is survived by his loving wife Jane of Mt Morris; children, Kameron Kleveland of Indianapolis, IN, Kelsey Kleveland of Peoria, IL; and Jacob (Jennifer Rogers) of Milwaukee, WI; siblings, Bev (Gary) Christensen of Oregon, IL, Donna Kleveland of Clare, IL, and Jim Kleveland of Chicago, IL; brothers-in-law, Ron Voyles of Sycamore, IL, Ben (Alli) Schuck of Montgomery, IL, and Barry (Cathy) Thompson of Minooka, IL; sister-in-law, Julie (Hal) Deutsch of Plano, TX; father-in-law, Joe Schuck, Jr. of Englewood, FL; nieces and nephews, Carrie (Billy), Troy, Ross, Jason (Taylor), Jeremy, Katie, Quinn, Doyle, and Derek; several great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bob and Joan Berg of Malta, IL, Ed and Bonnie Soresie of Oregon, IL and Steve and Barb Burke of Mt Morris, IL. Services will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. 7th St. Oregon, IL with Pastor Michael Hoffman of the Oregon Church of God officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:30-7:30 on Monday March 28, 2016 at the funeral home. A memorial is established in his name in hopes of providing portable lighting for the Oregon Park District/Oregon High School soccer fields.
