Alex R. Davis

BYRON, IL ~ Alex R. Davis, 33, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center of Rockford, IL. He was born on May 8, 1991, in Rockford, IL, the son of Darren & Sara (Hill) Davis. He worked as a plumber in the area for many years after going to school. Alex loved to fish, hike, and be outdoors, especially when at Weld Park with his son, Troy. He was a loving and caring father to his 7-year-old son Troy. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis Davis. He is survived and missed dearly by his loving parents Darren & Sara Davis of Byron, IL; brother Tyler (Nicole) Davis of Lochbouie, CO; sister Katelyn (Joel Chavez-Chavira) Davis of Westminster, CO; and Grandmother Caroline Davis of Stillman Valley, IL. 

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled in his honor for Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Byron Forest Preserve Pavilion.
