Angela J. Tillett

Angela J. Tillett, age 65, died Friday, June 23, 2023 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.  She was born September 19, 1957 in Oregon, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Florence (Drumheller) Tillett.  Angela loved the Chicago Bears, the Stillman Valley Cardinals and doing Diamond Paintings to pass the time.  Angela would travel often, her favorite spot was always the beach.  Angela worked as a CNA at Generations at Neighbors Nursing Home in Byron, Illinois for over 30 years.  She always loved working as a CNA because she was able to help those in need.  Along with her work she was entirely devoted to her family.  Her children, grandchildren, and grand-puppys were her world, they meant everything to her.

            Angela is preceded in death by her parents, child Cory Jay Grimes, and brother Charles W. Tillett.

            She is survived by the family she so dearly loved including son, Jason (Nikki) Grimes of Ashton; daughters, Jessica (Chris) Haymes of Davis Junction, Ricki (Curt) Kiolbassa of Gilberts; sisters, Carla Good of Davis Junction, Sharon (Don) Probasco of New Mildford; grandchildren Megan, Kaitlyn, Robert, Taylor; and grand-puppys, Willow, Apollo, Shilo, Ellie, Missy, Pugsley, and Izzy.

            A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home of Oregon Illinois.  A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2023 just prior to the memorial service from 10:00 to 11:00. Angela is to be laid to rest with her child Cory at Riverview Cemetery in Oregon, Illinois.  Memorials are established in her name and may be directed to the family.
