PECATONICA ~ Cynthia L. Kuban, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the Serenity Hospice and Home of Oregon, IL. She was born on March 4, 1957, in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Leslie & Claralee (Davidsmeier) Little. She graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1975 before meeting and marrying the love of her life, Duffy Kuban on August 5th, 1978, in Joliet, IL. She worked for many years as a Floral Designer at a local flower shop in Pecatonica. She spent much of her life being creative with everything she did. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and making her own jewelry. Her dog Schmoopy always brought her joy. Cindy also loved being at the family’s cabin in Wisconsin, boating, fishing, and especially spending time with her family. Her pride and joy were her three grandsons, Hank, Eli, and Jonathan.
Cindy is survived and missed dearly by her loving husband, Duffy Kuban of Pecatonica, IL; children Andy (Angela Busch) Kuban of Montello, WI & Kaylee (Chris) Miller of Oregon, IL; parents, Leslie & Claralee Little of Joliet, IL; sister, Pamela (Juan) Calderon of Joliet, IL, grandsons, Hank, Eli, Jonathan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private family services will at Better Place Forests of Oregon, IL, where she will be laid to rest, with Reverend Wanda Veldman presiding.
