He was someone who enjoyed fixing things which he used in his construction profession and in his free time tinkering on equipment. When he was able he loved being outdoors snowmobiling. Danny was someone who followed his passions like playing football in his earlier years and watching the Chicago Bears play every Sunday. He enjoyed diving headfirst into his hobbies and following through on his ideas. He was a collector; especially of guns. Danny loved getting together with his friends at Stumpy’s every Tuesday when he was able. At the end of the day, he enjoyed winding down in front of the television to watch his shows especially if they were Taylor Sheridan shows. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harry J. Heidel. He is survived and deeply missed by his wife, Toni of Stillman Valley; children. Amanda Heidel of Machesney Park, Rebecca (Benjamin) Irvin of Rockford, Michele (Tom) McDonald of Byron and Brian (Lyndsey) Busser of Parish, FL; and grandchildren, Neveah, Kaylee, Braxton, Ellie, Alex, Talia, and Mia.
