Danny R. McDaniel

BYRON, IL ~ Danny R. McDaniel, 72, died suddenly in his home of Byron, IL, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1952, the son of Gordon & Betty (Bartley) McDaniel in Dekalb, IL. Danny loved keeping himself busy with fixing things, projects, and fishing. His true passion was motorcycles, he would love to ride them and was very active in the motorcycle community.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gordy McDaniel and sister PattyWhitmore. He is survived by his loving daughter Kristina (Eric) Wiltfang; brother Michael McDaniel; sister Kathy (Joe) Delap; and grandchildren Myriah, Makena, and Cade.

Cremation rites are scheduled with no services pending at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials are established in his name and may be directed to the family.
