Dennis Zalud

Dennis J. Zalud, age 69, passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at Generations at Neighbors in Byron. He was born in Chicago on May 25, 1952 the son of Laddie and Lillian (Schwendner) Zalud. Dennis married Julie Kowalewski on November 11, 1981. He worked as a truck driver for ZMX and then for Bruce Transportation. In his spare time; he loved to garden and fish. He will be missed by those surviving including his loving wife, Julie of Stillman Valley; siblings, Judy Hill of Park Ridge, Laddie (Carol) Zalud of Huntley, and Bruce (Sally) Zalud of Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Jane (Tim) Jones of Tennessee; brother-in-law, Tom (Terese) Kowalewski of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. No services are scheduled at this time with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Memorials are established in his name.
