Dianna Kretsinger

Dianna L. Kretsinger, age 74, passed away at Oregon Living & Rehab on November 24, 2020. She was born in Rockford, IL on October 6, 1946 the daughter of Kenneth and Edna (Hastings) Miller. She married Wayne Kretsinger on December 7, 1963. Dianna loved to work with the public and worked for various locations in the area including Kable Printing, Felkers grocery store, and Ben Franklin in Byron. She also worked as a librarian for the Leaf River Local Community Library. She was a member of Leaf River United Methodist Church. In her spare time; Dianna was an avid crafter who especially loved bead work and flowers but cross stitching was her favorite. She also enjoyed using her artistic abilities to draw and paint. She will be remembered for the love of her family and her love for dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Marvin and John. She is survived by her children, Marina (Douglas) Spitzer, Michelle (James) Coons, and Daniel (Florence) Kretsinger; grandchildren, Jessica (Josh), Andrew (Erin), Abigail, and Joshua; and great grandson, Preston Wayne. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials are established for Serenity Hospice and Home.
