Gregory A. Lints

Gregory Alexander Lints passed away on October 5 in Oregon, IL after a short battle with colon cancer at the age of 64. Born on August 9, 1959 in Detroit Michigan, the family moved to California before settling in Oregon, IL. Greg loved the outdoors and spent his time competing in track and field and exploring the woods outside the family home.

A graduate of Oregon High School, Greg won several reginal and state awards for track and field, where his high jump record earned him a spot on their wall.

He worked many jobs to support his outdoor lifestyle. His whole life, he continued to love volleyball, camping, nature, The Lord of the Rings, Coca Cola, and his children (though not in that order).

He is predeceased by his parents Graham and Lois Lints, and survived by his siblings Graeme Lints, Lynne Lints-Lovstad, Donna (Mark) Cerny, Gerold Lints, and Beth Lints, and by his children Jordan and Alex.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
