John C. Musselman

John Carl Musselman, 69, of Oregon, IL passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Serenity Hospice & Home, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on May 24, 1954 in Rochelle, IL and was the son of John (Jack) G. and Elaine M. (Nesheim) Musselman.

            John married Deborah (Deb) L. Miller on August 9, 1997 in Rockford, IL and, in addition to Deb, is survived by his son Nick (Steph) Musselman of Fort Myers, FL, his step-son Jarod (Katie) Kimble of Elmhurst, IL, his brother Charlie (Tina) Musselman of Rochelle, IL and sister Marianne (Denny) Tomlinson of Geneva, IL, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            John graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1972. He spent the majority of his career in the tool and die industry and retired from Rockford ToolCraft in 2021. John was an avid collector of pocket watches, antique vehicles, and spent most of his free time with his beloved Indian Motorcycle which he and Deb enjoyed taking on long trips with good friends.

            A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Rivers Edge Experience in Oregon, IL from 1-4 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Serenity Hospice & Home of Oregon, IL or the John C. Musselman Memorial Fund.
