Judith K. Fore

Judith K. “Judy” Fore, age 81, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her home in Oregon, IL surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 19, 1943 in Oregon the daughter of Clyde and Alma (Hellman) Gigous. She was a lifelong Oregon area resident and attended Oregon schools. Judy worked many years for both Kysor and Com Ed Generating Station in Byron, IL. She loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. She would bake them Christmas cookies and banana bread every year. She also enjoyed her many flower gardens. She was predeceased by her parents Clyde and Alma Gigous, her daughter Becky K. (Steffa) Merritt, brothers Junior, Claude (Jim), Donald, Robert, Jesse, and David Gigous, sisters Donna May Gigous and Barbara Ann (Gigous) Hartman. She is survived by her daughters Teresa (Eric) Grover of Chana, IL and Donna (Douglas) Harriett of Oregon, IL, brother Roy S. (Margaret) Gigous and sister Sandra K. (Gigous) Krueger, grandchildren Dustin (Wendy) Harriett, Justin Merritt, Shelly Merritt, Clayton Merritt, Bradley Merritt, Robert Gruszeczka, Steven (Cambria) Grover, Lucas (Radaence) Grover, great grandchildren Liam, Landon, Chloe, Elijah, , Gunner/Charlie, Paxton, Hunter, Hailey, Raelynn, Riddik, Wilder, Rosa, Gustavo, Carlos, Paige, Miranda, and Aubrey and many nieces and nephews. At Judy’s request, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is established in Judy’s name and may be directed to her family.
