Kathleen J. Kraft

Kathleen J. Kraft, 92, former long time Oregon resident, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Franklin Grove Living & Rehabilitation Center. Born July 19, 1929 in Dows, Iowa, the daughter of Clifford and Veba (Hill) White. She was a 1947 graduate of Dows (Iowa) High School. Married to Elmer G. Kraft October 6, 1949 in Dows, Iowa; he died January 5, 2016. Kay was previously employed at Lawson Floor Covering in Rochelle and at various other area banking and insurance agencies. She most enjoyed working at The Flower Patch in Oregon. Kay was a member of Oregon United Methodist Church. Survived by sons, Michael W. (Pat) Kraft of Basin, MT and Steven G. (Ramona) Kraft of Dixon; daughters, Cynthia K. (Randy Rasmussen) Jensen of Janesville, WI and Kim R. (Steven) Toole of Ashton; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sisters, Connie (Carl) Durham of Rock Island and Audrie Krukow of Dows, Iowa. Also predeceased by her parents and brother, Delbert. Cremation rites to be accorded with burial in Riverview Cemetery, Oregon. Private Family Services will be held. Memorials in Kay’s name may be made to Oregon United Methodist Church.
