Oregon, IL – Kim N. Schnorr, age 66, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at KSB Hospital in Dixon, IL. She was born Nov. 17, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Martin and Aurelia (Natzek) Carlson. In 2001 Kim married Gary Schnorr in Jefferson City, MO. Kim was known to many as the Store Manager for over 20 years at the Shell Station in Oregon, IL. She volunteered at the Nachusa Grasslands near Franklin Grove. She loved her little dog “Abby”. She also loved bird watching and feeding her birds, going fishing, gardening, and playing bocce ball with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Martin and Aurelia Carlson. She is survived by her loving husband Gary Schnorr of Oregon, IL, 3 sons Joe (Jennifer) Schweinler of Dawsonville, GA, Brandon Schweinler of Rosenberg, TX, and Corey Schweinler of Seward, IL, 2 step sons, Jason Schnorr of West Bend, WI, and Matt (Cassie) Schnorr of Oregon, IL, brother Darren Carlson, 2 sisters Maxine Dombrowski and Susie Pavone both of North Lake, IL, 3 grandchildren Dakota, Dillan, and Jenna Schweinler. A private family service will be held at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Oregon, IL. A memorial fund is established in Kim’s name for the Nachusa Grassland and the Oregon Fire Protection District.
