Michelle Coons

Michelle (Kretsinger) Coons, born December 9, 1966 to Dianna (Miller) and Wayne Kretsinger was reunited with her cherished sister Marina and parents on December 11, 2024. She left behind her loving husband James and her proudest accomplishments, daughter Abigail and son Joshua. Michelle was a vibrant person who loved to sing and entertain her children with mom concerts. In her spare time, she would be in her greenhouse and garden enjoying the beauty of nature and at times struggle to keep the plants thriving. She also enjoyed winding down by frequent trips to the Dollar store and playing June’s Journey which she had a slight addiction to. But more than anything Michelle loved being a mother and wife. Her family was her world. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, and father-in-law, Donald Coons. She is survived and missed by her husband James; children, Abigail and Joshua; mother-in-law, Catherine Coons; in-laws, Doug Spitzer, Laura Coons, Donald Coons, and Lois (Mike) Peterson; nieces and nephews, Mallory (Adam), Jessie (Joshua), Natalie (Tony), Andrew (Erin), Spencer, Erin and Alden; great nieces and nephews, Sienna, Harlowe, Preston, Jack, and Matthew; special cousin, Perryn; fur babies, Tess, Pebbles, Tater Tot, and Mimmy; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends including her Class of 1985. There will be no public services or luncheon at this time due to the overwhelming emotions, but the family would love to break bread with anyone who wants to honor her well lived life in the future. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the family.
