Mya Noreen Morrissey

Mya Noreen Morrissey passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday July 13, 2024.

Although her time on earth was short, a lifetime of love was given and received by her family. Our sweet Mya, a beautiful daughter and sister, completed our family and will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. The bond shared with her siblings is a love that is only outdone by the love for her mother. Mya spent the entirety of her life on earth with her mother. More than sustenance, more than comfort, a bond that can only be defined by the love our special girl showed. Though the end of life on earth, Mya’s memory will continue and live on in our hearts and in our minds every day. May God give us the strength to share in her memory and love all in the way that she loved us.

A public funeral service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer Reformed Church in rural Oregon. 

A luncheon will follow the service at 12:00 PM at the Jarrett Prairie Center at the Byron Forest Preserve.
