Patricia Ann Lofquist, age 86, passed away peacefully at Generations at Neighbors in Byron. She was born in Iowa City, IA on July 14, 1937 the daughter of Joe and Susie (Reed) Dole. She married the love of her life, Michael Lofquist on December 15, 1962. Patricia spent many of her years in Highland, IL before retiring in Port Orange, FL. Eventually, she moved to Stillman Valley, IL to spend her remaining years. Patricia was a jack of all trades working in various jobs and ending her career in catering for the Palmetto Club. In her spare time; she enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and boardgames with her family. She loved warm weather, the beach, and fishing. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and adored being a mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 10 siblings. Patricia is survived and missed by her children, Doug Lofquist of Newnan, GA, Deb (Darrin) Castle of Stillman Valley, IL, and David (Mary Lisa) Lofquist of Atlanta, GA; and grandchildren, Steven Lofquist, Mireille Lofquist, Alyssa Castle and James Castle; and a special dog, Duke. Patricia will be laid to rest in Daytona Beach, FL with her husband. The family would like to thank the staff at Generations at Neighbors for the kindness they showed to Patricia and her family.
