Robert “Bob” F. Carsella, age 71, passed away at home on July 16, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Fred and Anne (Girardi) Carsella. Bob worked for Dominick's in the Chicagoland area 30 years before retirement. He married Mary “Tina” Nicastro on July 15, 2000 and they spent a beautiful 24 years together. Bob had a strong faith in God and enjoyed attending St. Mary Church with Tina. He was passionate about music and was a talented guitar player and singer. Bob would never turn down a good meal and especially enjoyed pasta and sweets. In his spare time, you could find Bob out at the golf course, and if he wasn’t playing golf, you could find him watching it on TV. He appreciated order in life and was a very neat and tidy man. But, overall, the most important thing to Bob in life was his family. His love language was quality time and he never missed an opportunity to spend time cherishing his loved ones. Whether it was out doing something fun or just staying at his beloved home with Tina, he truly relished time with his loved ones. He was a man of true integrity; he believed in pouring into others and making sure everyone knew how important they were. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived and dearly missed by his wife, Tina of Mt. Morris, IL; daughter, Jeanette (Ryan) Tindall of St. Charles, MO; brother, Michael (Mary) Carsella of Glen Ellyn, IL; nieces, Kate (Davis) Carsella and Iris Carsella of Union, IL; and dog, Fonzi.
