Victoria L. Dummer

Victoria L. “Vicki” Dummer, age 78, formerly of Franklin Grove and Oregon, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Mt. Morris.  She was born April 2, 1945 in Buckley, Washington the daughter of Frank and Francis (Francini) Annas.  Vicki married Kenneth Dummer on May 28, 1970 in Summer, Washington.  She worked as a telephone operator for Contel, Inc. in Oregon, IL and also was the Librarian for the Oregon Public Library for many years.  Vicki loved her Lord and Savior.  She preached the good word to others.  She was a member of the Lost Lake Community Church.  Vicki was known as a hard worker and liked to swim, ride her bike, sew, and do crafts. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Village of Progress in Oregon for many years.  She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Kenneth, sons James and Thomas, brother Larry Annas, and sisters Barbara Griebe, and Norma Annas.  She is survived by her children Clyde (Tina) Seeley of Amboy, IL and Arlene (Steve) McQuality of Mountainview, AR; 3 sisters: Faith Irish of Buckley, WA; Pamela Neill of Buckley, WA; and Patty Mariotti of Kent, Washington; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. 7^th Street in Oregon, IL with the Pastor John Trotter of the Lost Lake Community Church officiating.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Daysville Cemetery near Oregon.  A memorial fund is established in Victoria Dummer’s name and may be directed to her children.
