Wanda L. Hollewell

Wanda L. Hollewell, age 94, died peacefully at her home in Oregon surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 9, 1929 in Oregon, IL the daughter of Forrest and Laurine (Westendorf) Francis.  Wanda graduated from Oregon High School in 1947.  She married James Hollewell on Dec. 30, 1950 in Oregon.  She formerly worked as a telephone operator, a waitress, a gas station attendant, on the family farm and ran Hollewell Trucking.  She was predeceased by her parents, her husband James Hollewell, sister Patricia Blevins, brother Bill Francis, and son Tim Hollewell.  She is survived by her daughter Linda Hollewell of Chana, sister Ann (David) Frank of Wynett, IL, grandchildren Tiffany (Dustin) Pulliam of Speedwell, TN, Jimmy (Nicole) Halvorson of Crete, IL, Brett (Katie) Hollewell of Shannon, IL, 5 great grandchildren Owen and Luke Pulliam, Ella and Leah Halvorson, and Zoe and Emery Hollewell.  Per Wanda’s request, no services are scheduled at this time.
