Warren Lee Reed

Warren L. Reed, age 81, formerly of Oregon died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the Oregon Living and Rehab Center.  He was born October 12, 1942 in Oregon, IL the son of Clifford K. and Ruth (Messenger) Reed.  Warren attended Oregon Schools.  He worked for the Oregon Republican Reporter in the printing department for many years.  He also worked for Wood Brothers in Oregon prior to his retirement.  His hobbies included fishing, collecting antiques, watching football and NASCAR, and just enjoying his retirement.  He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, daughter Penny Ann Kyker, granddaughter Lori Ann Weaver, and grandson Chad Kyker.  He is survived by his children Richard (Stephanie) Reed of Oregon; Theresa (Larry) Weaver of Polo; Jeff Reed of Dixon; and Donny Reed of Monroe, Wisconsin; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  At Warren’s request there will be no public services.  A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  A memorial fund is established in his name for the Oregon Living and Rehab Center and the Serenity Hospice and Home which can be directed to his family.
